Building Powerful Ministry Teams
I am a sports fan. I always have been and probably always will be. I even found myself watching and enjoying the recently completed Tour de France. Because my son-in-law is a competitive bike racer, I have been learning to watch for the strategic moves being made by a cycling team over the course of a race. Individuals seldom produce exceptional results. Teams always have the potential of producing exceptional results.

Recently, the Legacy Leadership Initiative conducted its inaugural “Building Powerful Ministry Teams” training. Eighteen leaders from around the country came together to learn the strategic moves that ministry teams need to make in order to be positioned to experience exceptional results. They were also equipped to share these key characteristics with teams and team leaders in their cities by conducting team training workshops.

Here is a glimpse of those characteristics: A Common Purpose, the Reason for Cooperation; Clear Roles, the Strategy for Cooperation; Accepted Leadership, the Structure for Cooperation; Effective Processes, the Method of Cooperation; Solid Relationships; the Climate of Cooperation; and Excellent Communication, the Means of Cooperation.

Our vision is for 100 men to become equipped to train others over the next three to five years. Can you see where this is going? Thousands of men and teams positioned to significantly impact their cities for Christ. See our description page and videoes to learn more about how your team can become a powerful ministry team.
