CBMC’s INVOLVEMENT
Focus on the Family approached CBMC last spring desiring to know more about Operation
Timothy. It was during that meeting when Dr. Tackett revealed that he, himself,
is a product of discipleship and understands the extraordinary transformational
power of life-on-life mentoring. The Truth Project team contacted CBMC again in
late summer asking if we would consider partnering with them to provide discipling
to those who graduate from The Truth Project. After lengthy discussions, CBMC determined
that this partnership could appreciably grow our Operation Timothy process in a
manner never before experienced in our 77 year history. Right now, we are in the
process of identifying city and area coordinators who, in turn, are contacting our
new and old “Pauls” as we get ready for an influx of “Timothys” in early 2009.
